www.kapowtoys.co.uk Star Wars TVC Dack Ralter review

Star Wars TVC Dack Ralter is one smooth figure :) , we werent expecting much from the Vintage Collection line but they truly appear to be a step up from Legacy. First off the figures build feels more solid with a softer but more hardy plastic used in the construction. The extra size and height also add to the detail of the figure seemingly allowing more movement in the legs than before, sadly however the thigh is a simple back and forth joint and not on a ball. Overall these appear to be a great addition to the universe and if they are a sign of things to come count us in.

www.kapowtoys.co.uk Hubcap verdict

Nice toy, very nice for a Scout size figure too :) . His Roadster mode is nice and quite smooth with some originality, the bot mode is also good with plenty of articulation in the joints however the boot / roof kibble can hinder the amount of forward and back poses available in his legs. Overall we would rate Hubcap 7/10, def one of the nicer scouts up there with Skystalker and Brakedown.

www.kapowtoys.co.uk Revenge of the Fallen Bludgeon review

Bludgeon is pure win! maybe its because he was one of the coolest Marvel UK G1 characters and the fact he is a samurai. The good points are - Brillaint articulation - 2 weapons including a hidden dagger - he's a tank - he can fit in with the Universe line no probs. Now the bad - static tracks is all we could find but this is saved slightly by the fact the ends are rubber giving them a nice finish. Overall we would score Bludgeon 8/10 - the fanboy in us screams 10!!!

www.kapowtoys.co.uk Deluxe Ratchet verdict

Big big movie Ratchet fans so you knock at least a point of his final score :) - Downsized to deluxe class this Ratchet resembles the onscreen version perfectly, he does have hip and shoulder kibble and reminds us of the RID car brothers in transformation. He's nice and solid in robot mode (apart from the shoulder kibble) and can be stuck in a variety of poses, his blaster again resembles the movie weapon far better than that lame roof rack which comes with the voyager. The hummer mode is okay but seems like it had to pack in too much robot therefore you can see the arms and feet clearly under the vehicle, he also kinda reminds us of a fast action battler. Overall - 7/10 and a worthy addition to the collection.
